Every year at Christmas Marie Edwards, AGM Services Business Operations Manager organises for a collection from the staff who would rather make monetary donations rather than sending Christmas Cards between each other. In addition to this Junair Spraybooths receive gifts from their suppliers to thank them for their business. It was decided, twelve years ago by the staff at Junair that instead of dividing the gifts out they would like to put them to good use. After much thought it was agreed that the gifts would be raffled off on the last trading day of the year and each year the money raised would be donated to a local charity. Junair’s Sales Office Manager, Elaine Butler volunteered to facilitate the event and to add to the fun Fiona Bradshaw, AGM’s Operations Administrator and Elaine dressed up in fancy dress to sell the tickets. To enhance the prizes, AGM Services, Junair Spraybooths and Workshop Solutions Directors also donate generous prizes. Prizes this year ranged from superb hampers of Champagne, chocolates, christmas cakes and puddings, an IPod docking station and bottles of whiskey, wine and tins and boxes of sweets. The total amount raised from the two ventures this year were £500 and will be donated to Springhill Hospice in Rochdale.

AGM Services Accounts Administrator, Samantha recently married Ashley Horrocks, a Sapper in the Armed Forces. All the staff at AGM Services would like to congratulate them both. Samantha has worked at AGM Services since leaving school, the baby of our Spray Booth Maintenance company is now all grown up!
AGM Services Ltd, who runs a network of 10 spray booth service engineers across the UK, took delivery of a new van at the start of the month, and immediately sent it to mutual customer James Alpe Ltd. The Clitheroe based company provided the internal racking and also the livery on the outside of the van.
In 2010 James Alpe undertook a major redevelopment of it’s site, installing two new state of the art car spray booths from AGM Services parent company Junair Spraybooths. AGM Services have provided James Alpe with service and maintenance cover to the spray booths, as well as all COSHH – Mist Clearance and LEV Legislative Testing – to existing body shop equipment since the project was complete.
AGM Services Sales Director, Wesley Young commented “The guys at James Alpe provide a great service. This is the 3rd service engineer’s van we have sent to them over the past 12 months. They tailored the internal racking design to suit our requirements that allows our service engineers to safely carry significantly more spray booth parts than conventional storage, which increases the chances of being able to rectify a spray booth breakdown on the first visit.”
