NEW ADDITION TO THE TEAM

AGM Services are pleased to announce that Louise Gray has joined the company as Operations Coordinator.

This appointment strengthens AGM’s support office that provide telephone support for any spray booth breakdown issues as well as managing the national network of 9 directly employed engineers who are available to carry out full spray booth services, input and spray booth extract filter changes, COSHH & HS&E legislative testing, and other testing such as LEV, Mist Clearance and Breathing Air Quality testing.

AGM Services Ltd, part of the Junair Group of Companies carried out their 10,000th spray booth service last month at Halifax Accident Repair Centre (part of the Northern Accident Repair Group).

Starting with just one service engineer back in 1994 AGM has grown to provide national coverage with a network of ten highly qualified and trained service engineers from as far south as Exeter up to Glasgow in Scotland.

The two Blowtherm Spray Booth Ovens, Junair Spray booth Oven, Junair Panel Booth, Paint Mixing Room and Dust Extraction System service was
carried out over two days. The spray booth filters were changed on all equipment, Mist Clearance Tests, Breathing Air Quality Tests and LEV Tests were carried out, with all certification completed to meet the bodyshops’ requirements for various manufacturer approvals, PAS125 and COSHH / HSE
requirements.

General Manager at HARC, Jim McLoughlin, commented “We have used AGM for service on our bodyshop equipment since 2006, as well as a thorough scheduled service they attend to any spray booth breakdown quickly and cost effectively. They carry the most commonly required spare parts on their vans meaning our spray booths are back up and running without the need for return visits”

AGM Services Sales Director, Wesley Young commented “AGM Services started out as a back-up to Junair Spray Booths in the North West of England
and in less than two decades has grown to offer the most effective national cover for any make or model of spray booth in the service market. We are
currently interviewing for another sales representative to deal with the high levels of enquiries so hopefully these milestone services will come around much
sooner!”

he staff at AGM Services and Junair Spraybooths Ltd would like to congratulate Sales Director Wesley Young for taking part in – and completing – a 78 mile run from Sheffield to Liverpool.

In his role as AGM Services’ Sales Director, Wesley is certainly no stranger to travelling the country and meeting new clients to negotiate their spray booth Maintenance Contracts, but his most recent endeavour took him out of the office and onto the roads to show his support for this great cause.

Starting on the pitch at Hillsborough Stadium, Wesley and five other runners took on the huge task of running the 78 mile journey to the pitch at Anfield, in just three days, raising money along the way for the families of those affected by the Hillsborough Disaster. As a lifelong Liverpool fan and keen runner, Wesley expressed more than enthusiasm for the task, saying that “To be able to help raise money and awareness to a cause that has been personally very close to me was a privilege. And despite being the hardest physical task I’ve done, it was a huge amount of fun along the way with a great group of people”.

Once again, all the staff at AGM would like to share their congratulations for this wonderful achievement and the contribution that Wesley made to the team effort. Well done Wesley!

Every year at Christmas Marie Edwards, AGM Services Business Operations Manager organises for a collection from the staff who would rather make monetary donations rather than sending Christmas Cards between each other. In addition to this Junair Spraybooths receive gifts from their suppliers to thank them for their business. It was decided, twelve years ago by the staff at Junair that instead of dividing the gifts out they would like to put them to good use. After much thought it was agreed that the gifts would be raffled off on the last trading day of the year and each year the money raised would be donated to a local charity. Junair’s Sales Office Manager, Elaine Butler volunteered to facilitate the event and to add to the fun Fiona Bradshaw, AGM’s Operations Administrator and Elaine dressed up in fancy dress to sell the tickets. To enhance the prizes, AGM Services, Junair Spraybooths and Workshop Solutions Directors also donate generous prizes. Prizes this year ranged from superb hampers of Champagne, chocolates, christmas cakes and puddings, an IPod docking station and bottles of whiskey, wine and tins and boxes of sweets. The total amount raised from the two ventures this year were £500 and will be donated to Springhill Hospice in Rochdale.
